Enhanced enforcement of parking restrictions for 2026 Fair

Enhanced enforcement action will be in place during the 2026 Fair for any vehicles found to be in contravention of parking restrictions.  

Any vehicle parked within resident permit areas without displaying a valid permit will be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice.  

Vehicles parked in locations where parking restrictions are in force will also be subject to enforcement action.

These measures are being introduced to support public safety on the highway network, particularly in areas where parked vehicles may cause obstruction, or present a risk to other road users and pedestrians.
