Sixty people attend Appleby Horse Fair meeting

Around sixty people attended a public meeting in Appleby last week to discuss this year's Horse Fair.

The meeting was chaired by Councillor Andy Connell, Cumbria County Council Elected Member for Appleby and was a chance for local residents to put their views and questions to members of the Multi-Agency Strategic Co-ordinating Group for Appleby Horse Fair.

Topics discussed included the date of the Fair, licensed premises and policing levels.
