Appleby Horse Fair Community Action Groups begin on 2 August
Next week, from 2nd August, the daily Community Action Groups begin and will run until 11th August (inclusive).
These community action groups will be as per the list below and anyone is welcome.
CAGs are an opportunity to discuss any emerging issues.
They are not the place to report crime or incidents, these must still be done via the 101 phone system for Cumbria Police or directly to the relevant agency.
A CAG allows community members to discuss any worries or issues they have with Police, councillors and other agencies. Following the CAG meetings, a multi-agency meeting is held and any issues arising from the CAGs can be discussed.
They are attended by agencies and councillors who sit on the MASCG. At a minimum there will be a PCSO representing Cumbria Constabulary at each.
All the CAGs will take place outside.
