Post Fair Community Drop-In Meeting

Following this year's Horse Fair, agencies from the Multi-Agency Strategic Coordination Group (MASCG) are holding a community drop-in event to continue to engage with members of the community on Wednesday 17 June 2026 between 5pm and 8pm in Appleby Public Hall

This event will include opening speakers:

Claire Notman - Westmorland and Furness Council - Senior Manager Communities and MASCG Chair
Detective Superintendent Dan StQuintin - Appleby Horse Fair Police Gold Command

Following this there will be an opportunity for you to speak directly with Claire, Dan and a range of officers from Westmorland and Furness Council, Appleby Town Council, Cumbria Constabulary, Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service and other MASCG representatives.

These discussions are an opportunity for you to share your experiences of the Fair, any suggestions you have for positive change, and to ask any specific questions that you may have.
